 Electronic Displays are seen on a wide range of products including, flat panel display units, touch screens, electro-luminescent lamp displays, hand held computers and control panels on mechanical equipment. Most applications that incorporate electronic displays require the display screen to be tough, durable and capable of operating reliably in different types of environment. The clarity and the cosmetic quality of the screen is also required to meet a high specification.
The Autoflex range of hardcoated polyester films are designed specifically for display applications. The hardcoat on the films offers excellent cosmetic clarity and quality and is available in either an antiglare or a gloss finish. The hardcoat surface also protects the film from scratches, scuffs and chemicals but is flexible and can even be embossed.
In addition, the recently launched Autoflex MothEye films show excellent Anti-Reflection (AR) properties with <1% reflectivity over the entire visible spectrum, combined with low dependency on angle of view. Our Autoflex Moth Eye films can be used in a number of applications in displays, where high-perfomance and low reflection / high transmission features are required. In addition, the films are hardcoated using MacDermid Autotype's proven hardcoat technology found in the rest of the Autoflex product family.
